DESCRIPTION:Feel good while you do good: join us for an apple harvest in a beautiful London orchard. \nBeing in nature boots wellbeing\, reduces stress\, and encourages mindfulness. \nCombine this with the feel-good factor of helping your community and making new friends\, and you’ve got a great day! \nOn this one-day workshop you will: \nConnect with like-minded people in a stunning traditional orchard \nEnjoy the benefits of being in nature\, and working together to make a difference \nLearn about orchards\, and how you can take positive action in creating a better world. \nMaking an impact \nThe apples you help pick will be donated to The Felix Project and redistributed to charities and schools so they can provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society. \nFor the apples you help pick\, we pay the orchards above market price so that they can care for their trees and continue to help nature flourish in our cities. \nBy being there\, and enjoying the benefits of this orchard you help protect it from development! \nIt’s useful to know… \n\nHarvesting will involve walking on uneven ground\, reaching into trees\, and in some cases\, climbing ladders or lifting crates. Please contact us if you are unsure if you can participate in the harvesting activities.\nThe training will be outdoors\, so wear suitable clothing.
